Took the sleeping car train all night from Milan. That was a unique experience. I think everyone slept pretty well considering all the bumping and swaying. I think it was a bit worse at the top for Nora and I. We had a very nice girl in the compartment with us. Not sure what her home country is but she works as a family cook in Milan and speaks fluent french and Italian.
We navigated successfully from the Borsey Train Station to our apartment in Paris near the Odeum. Had to figure out their phone system and the metro which we did very successfully. The food seems great, but everything is very expensive.
We have already strolled to the Seine, checked out the Louvre (from the outside), the Arc/Place du Caroussel, the Jardin des Tuileries, the Place de Concorde (Lois the 15th was exectuted here along with Marie Antoinette). All very exciting. This is another beautiful city with a strong sense of style. We are taking a quick sieasta and then the plan is to hit go to the Louvre to check out Mona Lisa.
