Today we had croissants with nutella or strawberry jam for breakfast. We decided that we would take the ferry to Varenna or maybe some other towns as well. We drove to the dock and parked Giuseppe (the car). The ferry to Varenna was pulling up right as we bought our tickets, was really lucky. My dad was obsessing about taking videos and was annoying everybody by the time we got there. We walked over to an area reffered to as the lido, or the beach which is heavily praised by our bff Rick Steves. Not so much. Its basically a cement area where a bunch of people are tanning and there is an area about 4x6 yards where you can swim. It was really pathetic. We then went to a travel agency to book tickets to france on the train. After wandering around for a while, we found a "beach" behind a hotel. The water was nasty so my mom and i stayed out. We left Varenna and went back to Bellagio where we got gelato. The flavor that I got was stracciatella which is like a creamy vanilla bean flavor drizzled with chocolatey chocolate that hardens. On your tongue, however, it melts in to a savry, milky, delight. We then went wento to Lenno and went to a beach and collected glass and rocks. the water was cold but it felt refreshing. We took the bat back to Bellagio and made dinner (tortelinni and ravioli) and watched a movie and went to bed.
