Today we arrived in the city of lights. On the train we shared our cushay with a lady from france. It was cramped but a great experience. It was nice especially in the middle bed. Paris is so pretty. Especially the art. The louve is open late on friday so we got it over with. First we went to a branch I was really excited about. The italian art section in the denon wing. The thing that excited me is probably the most famous painting in the world. Mona lisa! There was something about her that was amazing. My mom bought me a magic tree house book about florence. In the book, there was a story about something when leonardo da vinci was painting lisa. Mona lisa was scared to smile because she thought if she smiled then leonardo would finish the painting, sell it to her family and forget about her. Leonardo said he would keep the painting and never forget her. So, mona lisa smiled and the painting was finished. Another rumor is that leonardo put mona lisa's face inside his head/hair. The pyramid is also really cool. When we were walking home from the louve,we saw the eiffel tower all lit up. It is really pretty. I like paris.
