Hao Lo Prison - aka the Hanoi Hilton

We visited Hao Lo Prison - aka the Hanoi Hilton.  It was much more interesting than I thought.  We were able to see the French occupation and the war with America through their eyes.

John McCain was a prisoner here for 5 years.  They had his jumpsuit and helmet on display (at least they said they were his).  Bridget made some interesting comparisons to the Hiroshima museum and said they were much more generous in their portrayals of Americans then the Vietnamese were -- at least in this one museum.
